A PUBLIC meeting will be held today over plans to build 38 flats and houses on the site of a former petrol station in Cowley.
There are fears the scheme, proposed by Oxford City Council which owns the Between Towns Road land, will lead to parking problems for nearby residents due to it being a 'car-free' development.

City councillor David Henwood has organised the meeting, which will take place at The Venue, Barns Road, from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.
A design and access statement submitted with the application said the project would act as a 'bridge' between the residential north of the site and the non-residential Between Towns Road.
Building work is planned to start next summer, with a completion date of late 2020.
