PROTESTERS will gather at County Hall on Sunday in a rally against a proposed £1.6m funding cut to mental health services in Oxfordshire.
Oxfordshire County Council has proposed to cut its contribution to the county’s NHS mental health services from £8 to £6.4m by 2022.
The controversial plans are contained within the council’s budget proposals for 2019/20.

In a social media post organisers said they intended ‘to make as much noise as possible’ before the council sets its budget.
This is due to take place next month at county hall.
The protest will take place at County Hall in New Road on Sunday at 12pm.
*Amendment: Organisers have changed the venue for the protest from Oxford Town Hall to County Hall.
