A HUSBAND and wife from an Oxfordshire village have raised £54,000 for the county's air ambulance.
Grandparents Ray and Janet Dawson, of Grove, have reached that total for Thames Valley Air Ambulance since they started collecting in 2011.
The couple raised their latest £1,000 by holding bucket collection days at Waitrose in Wantage and Tesco and Co-op in Grove in December.

Mr and Mrs Dawson also arranged for collection boxes at Sainsbury's in Wantage as well as Broadway Motors and Bellinger's garage in the past year, but are yet to get the totals from those.
The couple said they wanted to thank everyone who had donated in 2018, and looked forward to collecting more this year for Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
