A BROKEN rail has caused chaos for Chiltern Railways services this afternoon with several trains cancelled.
The issue at Sudbury Hill Harrow, north London, has blocked the line towards the West Midlands and caused delays and cancellations since late morning.
Many trains between Birmingham and London Marylebone have been cancelled or diverted, affecting passengers travelling to and from Oxford and Banbury.
Chiltern Railways has tweeted tickets are being accepted on other operators.
The company revealed the rail had broken in two separate places and disruption is expected to continue until 5pm.
