A PHONE box which was destroyed in a Christmas Eve car crash has now been cleaned up and removed.
One of the two phone boxes in Headington was left cornered off with glass shattered across the pavement when a red Nissan Note crashed into a stationary taxi on London Road.
It is not yet clear if another phone box will be installed in its place.
However, Headington councillor Roz Smith said she hopes ‘much needed bike racks’ can be put there instead.
