A TEENAGE band from Burford wowed judges to be crowned winners of Oxfordshire County Music Service's talent show.

Inner Edge, comprising Luke Akroyd, Toby Bardsley, Luke Dennis and Fletcher Sharp, all 15, won Spotlight Talent 2018 at The Centre for Music in Bayswater Road, Oxford.

They picked up a £500 voucher from Professional Music Technology to spend on Marshall Amplification equipment.

Brodie Johnson, 16, from Abingdon, finished second to win an eight-hour recording session at Oxfordshire Music Rooms in Chalgrove.

Third place went to Georgina Osibodu, who claimed a voucher for artist development from World Beats Music.

Oxford-based band Collision Theory took the audience vote prize, with the group winning a voucher for a recording session with Oxfordshire Music Service’s own in-house music production team.

Oxfordshire County Council’s Music Service plays a part in the lives of 8,000 children each week and offers activities across a broad range of music genres.
