OXFORD has been hit by a series of festive burglaries, according to police. 

The force says three properties in Marston and Headington were all targeted between Sunday 23 and Thursday 27 December.

A burglary occurred in Parry Close, Marston, when the offender(s) damaged the the garage door by forcing it open, before stealing tools.

A second property in the area, on Arlington Drive, was accessed by the offender(s) smashing the glass in the back door.

Police said a search had taken place, and items were moved, but it is unclear if anything was stolen.

Meanwhile, in Headington during the same period, a burglar(s) forced open a kitchen window to gain entry to a property on Benson Road.


A search of the whole house took place, police say, but it is not known if anything was stolen.
