A JOLLY postman in a village near Bicester is spreading cheer with his multiple Christmas hats.
Residents in Upper and Lower Heyford have praised the work of their local postie Jimmy Marshall who has been spreading the festive cheer.
The neighbours say every day they are greeted by Mr Marshall wearing a different Christmas-themed hat.
These have often be made by family, friends, local residents if not brought as presents.
One resident, who said the postie has long gone above and beyond his duties to help residents, added: “Everyday he is wearing a different Christmas hat, sometime they have even been made by his wife.
“It just brightens up everyone’s lives and everyone love him.
“He knows everyone and just brings big smiles to everyone’s faces.”
The residents have taken to Facebook to applaud Mr Marshall’s efforts for Christmas and have been posting an advent countdown of his Christmas hats.
The pictures have been posted on the local Heyford residents Facebook page group.
