SOLDIERS who lost their lives in the two world wars are to be honoured at a Turning the Pages ceremony.
The soldiers who fought and died in the conflicts were from the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and The Queen’s Own Oxfordshire Hussars.
The ceremonies are held about four times a year to remember those who gave their lives.
The next ceremony will take place at Christ Church Cathedral, off St Aldate’s in Oxford, on Saturday, January 5 at 11am. Families of the fallen soldiers are invited to attend.
David Coates is expected to join the congregation, in memory of his uncle, Langley Robert Shearer.
