A LANDOWNER who was refused planning permission for his son to be able to race his motorbike around their farmland for 14 days every year has launched an appeal.
The owner of Ten Acre Farm and Beckley just north of Oxford was told by South Oxfordshire District Council that using part of the land for Motocross racing was not allowed.
The owner, listed in council documents as Mr A Rogers of Hosker Close, Headington, has now appealed against that ruling saying the use counts as 'permitted development', provided it does not exceed 14 days in any given year.
His appeal calls for a public hearing over the matter.
Members of public can read the appeal submission on the council's website at southoxon.gov.uk using reference number P18/S1548/DA.
