MEN'S rights campaigners have hosted a public screening of a documentary calling for an end to 'Male Genital Mutilation'.
The film, American Circumcision, was introduced by controversial gender equality activist Mike Buchanan at Oxford Town Hall on Thursday.
The event was organised by the Oxford Men's Group to highlight the issue of circumcision of male minors for religious purposes.
Ian Johnson of the Oxford Men's Group said: “Unnecessary circumcision is an issue which is starting to gain more public attention.
"People are waking-up to the fact that genital mutilation happens to boys in the UK as well as girls."
Earlier this year, Mr Buchanan was fined £6,000 for blocking traffic in Parliament Square whilst protesting against male circumcision.
