BURGLARS threatened a victim with a knife during a break-in in South Oxfordshire.

The two men gained entry to a property in Nuneham Courtenay, near Oxford, on Thursday, October 18 at around 6pm.

They gained entry through the rear door, where they threatened the victim with the knife.

After the victim refused to hand over any items, the offenders left the property and drove off in a 55 plate silver Ford Mondeo.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witness and have released E-fit images of two men.

The first offender, pictured in the first image, is a white man aged between 20 and 25, around 6ft tall and slim.

He has ginger hair, a ginger beard and a long slim face.

He was wearing a light brown cap and a brown jumper. It is believed he spoke with an accent.

The second offender, pictured in the second E-fit image, is a white man aged between 20 and 22, around 6ft tall and slim.

He has a rounded face, clean shaven and black hair. He was wearing a black jumper and blue jeans.

Investigating officer detective constable Jamie Lawes, based at Abingdon police station said: “If you recognise the people in these E-fit images, please get in touch to help with this investigation.

“Please contact the 24-hour non-emergency number on 101, quoting reference 43180319381 or make a report online.
