A WEATHER warning is in place across parts of Oxfordshire for today.
The Met Office issued the yellow warning for Oxford and most of the county, though some eastern and southern areas are not included in the warning, which impacts most of Britain.
According to the Met Office, "a spell of wet and windy weather is expected, with a very small chance of very strong and disruptive winds."
Describing the warning across the country, it continues: "Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely with some journeys taking longer. There is the chance of some cancellations as well as some road/bridge closures.
"Some short term loss of power and other services is possible."
The warning, which came into force at 3am this morning, ends at 2pm.

The Met Office are warning the public that gusts of more than 50mph are possible and that standing water could be an issue on the roads.
It adds: "Heavy rain is also likely to affect southern and western England, and following on from recent wet weather this may lead to some very localised surface water flooding."
Rain is expected in Oxford until around mid-afternoon.
