A NURSERY with 'inspirational' leadership has been praised for helping children to 'flourish' in a glowing Ofsted report.

St Hugh of Lincoln, based in Witney, was rated 'outstanding' in every category following an inspection last month.

From teaching and management, to behaviour and the progress of pupils inspector Eileen Chadwick commended both the children and staff.

She described the students in her report as 'extremely happy' and 'highly engaged' with 'exemplary' behaviour.

Ms Chadwick said staff were 'highly skilled' had a 'superb knowledge' of how children learn.

She added this also helped youngsters to form 'strong and trusting relationships'.

The nursery, in Curbridge Road, currently teaches 49 pupils aged between two and four.

St Hugh of Lincoln nursery became a charity in its own right in 2016, having previously been managed for 20 years by a committee.
