A DECISION on whether to allow 500 homes to be built on Oxford Brookes University's Wheatley Campus will be made today.
Parish councils, Historic England, Thames Water, Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group and the county council’s highways department have all raised concerns about the plans, though others have said affordable housing - which could make up 40 per cent of the development - is needed in the area.
The university has wanted to sell its stake in Wheatley for some time and move departments to Headington.
South Oxfordshire District Council is expected to approve the plans at a meeting in Wallingford starting at 6pm.
