ROCK star Gaz Coombes has suffered for a broken leg after being "Bruce Lee'd" by his daughter.
The artist, who lives in Wheatley and has a new album called, ironically, World's Strongest Man, went to Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital after the incident which occurred while play fighting with his children.
He has cancelled overseas tour dates and rescheduled UK shows.
He took to Instagram to share X-Ray pictures of his broken bone.
He wrote: "I've only gone and broken my leg!
"Larking around with the kids I got 'Bruce Lee'd by my 15 year old, and let's just say, she connected too well.
"Had surgery earlier today here @ouhospitals Oxford, where all the staff have been completely amazing.
"A massive thank you to everyone here at the JR and to our wonderful NHS.
"I'll be back soon."
The former Supergrass frontman, who has recently returned from a North American tour and delighted fans when he headlined the Ritual Union Festival at the O2 Academy Oxford in October, has had to pull the plug on forthcoming shows.
He said: "Dates in Utrecht, Lille, Spain and Italy have regrettably been cancelled."UK dates are rescheduled to May."
His European tour should have started next Tuesday in Holland and the UK 'leg' in January.
Postponed UK shows include dates in Guildford, Wolverhampton and Worthing.
