A 61-YEAR-OLD man has received a caution after he injured an elderly woman by throwing a tub of butter at her.
The 74-year-old victim sustained swelling and severe bruising to her lip during the bizarre assault, which took place at around 12.40pm on Sunday, 21 October at the Co-op supermarket on the High Street, Eynsham, West Oxfordshire.
The attacker, from Oxford, pushed in front of the victim in the queue and the elderly lady took issue with this.
She highlighted to the man that there was a line and he then threw the tub of butter.
The victim did not require hospital treatment.

On November 7, Thames Valley Police released a CCTV image of a man officers would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
Five days later, police revealed the individual shown in in the image had been identified, with officers saying at the time there had been no arrests in the case.
