DENBIGH'S Love Island star Amber Davies has thanked Glan Clwyd Hospital for the help she received after she was 'spiked'.

Amber has issued a warning to fans after the incident in which she believes she had her drink spiked, which led to her being taken to hospital on Friday night.

Writing on Twitter, Amber – who won ITV2's Love Island in 2017 with her then partner Kem Cetinay – told her 375,000 followers: "Thank you all so much for your kind words.

"Getting spiked is something I never thought would happen to me but I'm so grateful to be home and safe.

"Thank you to my family and everyone who helped me, especially Glan Clwyd Hospital.

"Reminder to never leave your drink out of sight."

An episode was screened yesterday of the BBC quiz show Pointless Celebrities, in which Amber was paired with former Love Island colleague Marcel Somerville.
