OXFORD United fans have been warned about leaving valuables in their cars during home matches.
Thames Valley Police's Blackbird Leys Neighbourhood Policing Team found 10 vehicles with valuables on show in the Kassam Stadium's overflow car park during yesterday's game against Gillingham.
The force said it would send 'crime prevention advice' to the cars' owners 'in the interest of working with our communities'.
Last month, at least five cars parked on Grenoble Road were vandalised during the games against Plymouth Argyle and Shrewsbury Town.
Yesterday's #OUFC home game at the Kassam: #BlackbirdLeysNHPT found 10 vehicles in the overflow car park alone displaying valuables. In the interest of working with our communities, crime prevention advice will be sent to owners #OpBlaine #FightingCrime #WorkingTogether C6772
