A BARBER shop frequented by the stars of Oxford United had a change of tact as a separate sporting legend dropped by.

Staff at Andy's Barber Shop, in Pioneer Square, Bicester, were excited to welcome two times World Speedway Champion Tai Woffinden.

The speedway rider, who currently rides for WTS Wrocław in the Polish Speedway Ekstraliga, popped in for a cut throat razor shave and hair cut in the town centre barber shop.

After recently securing a third championship in six seasons, the 28-year-old has been hailed the greatest British rider of all time.

Andy's Barber Shop owner Andy Willis, who was among thos excited to welcome the sporting star in to the business, said: "It was a real pleasure to have Tai at our barber shop.

"We regularly have the Oxford United team here, but we've never had a speedway star before and he's clearly achieved some great accolades on the track. We wish him lots of luck for the future and hope to see him again."
