A DERELICT house targeted in an arson attack three years ago is finally set to be demolished.
The owner of 82 Westminster Way, which runs parallel to the Southern Bypass at Botley, has applied for planning permission to knock it down and build a block of flats.
The property was set on fire in what firefighters believed was a deliberate attack in April 2015.
It was already derelict at the time, with one wall propped up by scaffolding, but the fire service still had to send two engines from Kidlington to put the blaze out and stop it from spreading to neighbouring houses.
The owner, named only as 'Mrs Cheng' has applied for planning permission to demolish the building and build a new two storey building 'with habitable roof space' with a total of four two-bedroom flats and two one-bed flats.
Members of public can see the plans online at whitehorsedc.gov.uk P18/V2293/FUL. Vale of White Horse District Council is aiming to make a decision by January 1.
