The Oxford Mail is looking for an Audience and Content Editor to help lead our talented team.
We are looking for someone who is digitally-savvy, understands the needs and pressures of a modern newsroom and wants to help us deliver the best possible products to our audience.
The ideal candidate will currently be working on a newsdesk or is a senior shifting on newsdesk looking for the next step in their career.
The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder, capable of thinking on their feet and turning their hand to any of the daily tasks that crop up in a newsroom. Whether that's building a news list, looking after the website, writing stories, training reporters or production - they'll thrive on being in a fast-paced environment.
They will work across our portfolio of print and digital titles, including the Mail, the Oxford Times and our various magazines.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the law, will be comfortable dealing with members of the public and undertaking certain tasks on behalf of the editor when required.
If this sounds like the job for you, email your CV and a brief covering letter to the Editor at samantha.harman@newsquest.co.uk
