A FORMER BBC Radio Oxford presenter will stand in a county council by-election this month.
Tim Bearder will stand for the Liberal Democrats in the election for the Wheatley ward.
Michael Nixon will represent the Labour Party. John Walsh will stand for the Conservatives.
The election, to choose a replacement for former Lib Dem councillor Kirsten Johnson, will be held on November 29.
Dr Johnson has moved from Oxfordshire to stand as her party’s candidate in the North Devon constituency, which is currently held by Conservative MP, Peter Heaton-Jones.
