JURORS in a rape trial have been sent to consider their verdict.
Rugby coach Tom Clipsham, of Vale Avenue, Grove, denies raping an 18-year-old girl at his then home in Barwell, Wantage, in the early hours of March, 5, 2017.
The jury in the case were sent home this afternoon and will re-convene tomorrow morning to continue their deliberations.
Prosecutors allege Clipsham raped the woman after an argument with his wife.
Last week he told the trial at Oxford Crown Court that the sex had been consensual.
