FIREFIGHTERS had to free a driver from a car following a crash in West Oxfordshire.
Two cars collided on the A4095 in North Leigh this afternoon, at the junction with Park Road.
A woman who was driving one of the cars became trapped following impact, and fire crews had to cut off the roof of the car.
Posting on Facebook this afternoon, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service shared images of the crumpled bonnet surrounded by emergency services.
It said crews from Witney, Eynsham Fire Station and rescue tender from Kidlington worked with colleagues from Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service to deal with the incident.
The post added: "Crews worked together to remove the roof from one of the vehicles so that a trapped female driver could be released from her car.
"Both casualties were taken into the care of the ambulance service."
It did not state the extent of injuries but Hanborough and Minster Lovell county councillor Liam Walker, who posted about the crash at about 1.30pm, said no-one was seriously injured.
The road had been partially closed while the road was blocked, but has since reopened.
