There is a simple solution to the cyclists who flout the laws in Oxford.
When they are stopped and fined, their cycles should be confiscated until the fine is paid.
A tag with a number corresponding to the serial number on the fixed penalty ticket will be attached to the cycle, and when the miscreant pays his or her fine, they will have the bike returned.
I'm sure that a few days of having to walk will soon stop this illegal practice.
It would stop the 'James Bonds' of this city giving false names and addresses.
If this idea is taken up, can I have a patent on it, and market it elsewhere?
Come on, you bonehead bikers, stick to the law - it's for everyone's safety!
