Staff at a new bar in Oxford are laying on a Champagne reception for customers tomorrow night (Saturday).
The Thirst Lodge bar, off St Ebbe's, has been open for several weeks but the grand opening is at 6pm.
Manager Tommy Harris, pictured cracking open a bottle of bubbly, said the new bar, formerly the G Bar, was attracting students and drinkers from all age groups.
He added: "There's a full restaurant menu and it changes weekly. We also have live bands and when there isn't a band playing, there's a DJ on the top floor or in the basement."
