SUMMERTOWN: David Rose, store manager at audiovisual specialist Bang & Olufsen, helped raise more than £18,000 for children's charity Sparks when he teed up alongside a host of celebrities at a fundraising golf tournament. Mr Rose swapped flat screens for fairways as he led a team of four around Bearwood Lakes Golf Club, Berkshire, in the Bang & Olufsen Celebrity Classic, hosted by former Formula 1 driver and TV presenter Tiff Needell.
The Oxford team, which finished third overall, was joined by former 10cc drummer and West End musical star Stuart Tosh. Mr Rose said: "It was a fantastic day. The standard of golf was impressive and our team was kept entertained by Stuart's anecdotes about his music career."
