A YOUNG man found dead at a recreation ground was named today.
Peter Vallance, 20, of Perrinsfield, Lechlade, was found hanged at the recreation ground at Worcester Road, Chipping Norton, at 6.40am on Saturday.
A statement from his family, released through Thames Valley Police, said: "The family has been completely devastated by this news and are trying to come to terms with the loss of a precious son and loving brother.
"The parents want to express their appreciation for the many messages of love and support that they have received; it is clear that Peter had provided real friendship, love and deep care to so many. He will be greatly missed."
