It is is unacceptable that Royal Mail took ages to investigate the allegations against postal worker Steven Gill, then refused to explain its conclusions, as the law requires, and simply sacked him.
No employer must be allowed to get away with flouting employment law.
If one can, all of them will, and none of us will be safe.
Given that Royal Mail is still a public service, I would like to know what the two Oxford MPs, Andrew Smith and Evan Harris, think of the subject.
Royal Mail is deliberately trying to provoke further strikes, regardless of the impact on its customers.
