What a shambles the Royal Mail management have become from top to bottom.

The so-called top guys take big bonuses or big payouts when they leave.

They promise the postal workers all sorts of incentives, then withdraw them.

They treat the public the same.

Now that they won't pay people who have mailbags dropped at their houses, the bags are left on the kerbsides of housing estates.

The postmen and women who deliver the mail can't stop to talk to anyone or have a cuppa because they only have so much time to deliver.

This is why our society has lost its morale. The bosses should take a good look at themselves - they should be ashamed.

They should try showing the public what they used to be, a caring part of life and society.

The management now is self, self, self.

The top line is - how much money can we make for as little as possible?

Get rid of these people at the top, stop sacking people and settle grievances.

I was a 'bag drop' for 20 years and the amount I received for all that time was £50. Each bag of mail must have hundreds of pounds' worth of post.

This self-attitude is causing the problems. Let me be one of the managers and I will soon get a better work ethic by treating the workers and the public with the respect they deserve in what is still the best delivery institution in the world.
