Thousands of jobseekers from across the county are set to descend on Oxford Town Hall for the Oxford Mail Job Fair 2007 tomorrow.
The free event, which runs from 10am to 5pm, will feature 24 different exhibitors - offering a platform for employers and job seekers to meet face to face in a relaxed environment.
Oxford Mail recruitment advertisement manager Belinda Rand said: "It is a great opportunity for jobseekers and employers to meet and get to know each other before the interview stage.
"There are thousands of jobs on offer and our exhibitors are looking to recruit into many different fields."
Companies taking part in the event, sponsored by Champion Recruitment, include recruitment companies, the Armed Services, Thames Valley Police, Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford Brookes University.
Newsquest Oxfordshire, which publishes the Mail, will also have a stand. Some exhibitors will be offering training and advice on CV writing, qualifications and interview techniques.
Oxfordshire currently has the lowest number of people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance since December 2005.
Retailers, warehouses, bars and restaurants will all be looking to recruit staff in the run-up to Christmas and the new year.
