A bus passenger was injured in a late night brawl.

The man was on a number 100 Stagecoach double-decker which had left Witney and was heading throgh the Burwell Drive area at about 1.45am on Sunday, police said today.

A fight started on the lower deck after chips were hurled during an argument.

The man - who was not involved in the fight - was kicked in the back of his leg as he left the bus and injured his knee.

Police only made an appeal for information today.

Pc Charlie Hayes of Witney Police said: "We would to speak to passengers who were on 100 bus, including anyone who may have been personally involved in this incident. We are keen to find out exactly what happened and clear up this situation."
