OXFORD'S shiny new Westgate Centre opened exactly one year ago today to much fanfare.

- 2,000+: The equivalent number of permanent, full-time jobs created
- 8.9%: Rise in footfall for Oxford city centre footfall in the past 12 months
- £29m: The amount of wages generated
- 100% waste diverted from landfill
- 18 tonnes: The amount of CO2 saved thanks to 50 electric vehicle charging points
- 1,000: The number of cycle parking spaces that are being created
- 7 football pitches: The size of Westgate
- 94: The number of unemployed people into employment
- 3.2million: The number of man hours to build Westgate
- 397: The average number of workers on site each day during the build
- 1,110: The highest number of workers on site at its peak in September 2017
- 3km: The length of pipework installed
- 15km: The length of cables used
