THIEVES have smashed their way into eight allotment sheds in Marston Ferry Road, Oxford.
The Marston Ferry and Blackhall Allotment, to the north of the city, was targeted by thieves between 10pm on Thursday and 4am on Friday.
Thames Valley Police said the locks on the eight shed were broken off in order for thieves to get inside.
A number of items are believed to have been stolen including tools which police found discarded and have since returned them to owners.
