POLICE today appealed for witnesses after a man tried to assault a girl on a bus.
The assault happened on the 100 bus from Oxford to Carterton, which left Oxford at 9.15pm last Friday.
Police said a man approached a group of three children who were sitting on the upper level of the bus, made inappropriate comments and tried to hug a 14-year-old girl.
