A WOMAN was sexually assaulted after a man 'put his hand on her leg' and tried to kiss her twice on a bus to Swindon.
Thames Valley Police released an appeal in connection with the assault which happened between 11.20pm and 12am on Saturday, September 29.
The woman, in her 20s, was on the Stagecoach S6 bus from Gloucester Green in Oxford to Swindon.
Police said she was sitting next to a man who put his hand on her leg and then placed his arm around her and attempted to kiss her twice.
The victim did not know the man and was left feeling shaken and vulnerable by the incident.
It is believed that the man got off the bus at Fleming Way in Swindon.
Police initially released CCTV in connection to the witness appeal in this case, but it has now been removed.
The force said a man was arrested in connection with the incident but has now been released with no further action to be taken.
The investigation has been discontinued.
