CHARITY fundraisers are hoping to paint the town centre pink.
The Witney team of Against Breast Cancer is holding its sixth Pink Day and hopes to be even more successful than last year when more than £5,000 was raised.
Shops, businesses, pubs and individuals are being invited to take part on Saturday, October 6, when there will be pink balloons and ribbons, entertainers and dancers in the town.
Denise Barkley, secretary of the Witney team, said: "We need the whole of Witney to get behind us in our fight to raise the desperately needed funds."
