CHANTS of 'He's behind you' would not have been unusual to hear at Oxford's Bus Station yesterday as the stars of the Oxford Playhouse pantomime roamed the city.

Dick Whittington, played by Rick Oakley, and The Cook/Dame played by Paul Barnhill were let loose to peruse the delights of Gloucester Green market before catching a ride on the X90 bus service.

The pair were whipping up excitement for this year's performance of Dick Whittington and his Cat - a rags to riches story of a rural Oxfordshire boy venturing to London.

But he comes up against King Rat and pirates.

The show will run from November 23 to January 6 and tickets are £10 to £32.
