A MULTI vehicle crash involving an HGV and several cars caused delays on the A34 this morning.
One lane was blocked on the southbound carriageway at East Ilsley, Berkshire with some suggestions up to eight vehicles were involved.
Debris was reportedly strewn across the carriageway following the incident which happened near a slip road at around 6.45am.

Queues stretched back as far as Harwell with traffic feeds warning of delays of more than 50 minutes.
Both lanes were open again by around 9.30am.
Elsewhere on the same road a crash involving a car and HGV on the northbound carriageway near Hinksey Hill interchange also caused delays.
The lane was partially blocked with congestion as far as the Marcham Interchange.
