A DISABLED, elderly woman was given a new mobility scooter just one day after we reported she had two stolen.

Tasha Walsh, 73, from Wood Farm, gratefully received a replacement vehicle by a generous couple who live in the area on Sunday.

The next day, Mrs Walsh was offered another scooter by a Blackbird Leys resident, but she said she was 'overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of people'.

Mrs Walsh could not leave the house alone after the incident, which is believed to have taken place on Sunday, September 23.
