A CLOTHING store's fashion show raised almost £1,000 for a hospice that cares for terminally ill children.
Slate Clothing, based on Burford High Street, raised £964 for East Oxford hospice Helen & Douglas House at the event at The Bay Tree Hotel in the town.
Guests enjoyed a two course lunch followed by the show, where five models showed six outfits each from the store's new autumn and winter collection, and a fundraising raffle.
Slate Clothing has been holding charity fashion shows for the last four years and has raised £1,902 for the hospice so far this year.
Alison Hooker, from Helen & Douglas House, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to Slate Clothing for supporting us at their fashion shows this year and to all the guests who came along and gave so generously. "We need to raise £3m a year to help families with local terminally ill children and could not do this without fantastic supporters like Slate Clothing."
