A SCHOOL will now have wider gates so more cars can pass through ‘without conflict’.
Headington School, on Headington Road, had plans approved by Oxford City Council for the widening of its school gates.
In the plans, developers wrote that the current 4.5m wide access means that only once car can get in and out at a time.
They added ‘proposals seek to widen the access to 6m to allow vehicles to enter and exit the school without conflict.’
Plans can be found on the planning register.
