A CRATER-LIKE void opened up in Oxford’s Bonn Square today to reveal a stash of Blackbeard’s treasure.
But it wasn’t a health and safety nightmare, it was in fact a 3D creation set up to mark the opening of Escape Hunt Oxford.
The new adventure game was officially opened to the public this morning with two themed rooms ready for contenders to solve some mind-boggling puzzles.
The 3D floor work depicted one of the latest escape room challenges ‘Blackbeard’s Treasure’, fit with a portrait of Harry Potter actress Emma Watson in a nod to the city.
The other themed escape room that was opened is The Fourth Samurai, and teams have just 60-minutes to solves the challenges and escape the room.
It can be found on the terrace of the Westgate and is up to £25 per person.
