CHILDREN have allegedly been seen 'climbing on the bins' at an Oxford field.
The head of St Barnabas CE Primary School in Jericho has urged parents to supervise their children at the end of the school day, following reports of such behaviour.
She said the school has an 'unusual arrangement' in that its field is shared with the community, so outside of school hours it is open for community use.
In a newsletter this week, head Fiona Hawkins wrote: "I do need to stress that at the end of the day children are the responsibility of their parents and should be supervised.
"I am told children climb on the bins, this is not the behaviour I would expect.
"It has been suggested we put up signs to remind people but there is a sign.
"Please respect that the field is kept open to provide an opportunity for families to be together."
