MOTORISTS have been warned by police to beware following a spate of vehicle crimes in north Oxfordshire.

A car parked outside Banbury's Spiceball Leisure Centre was damaged on Monday night between 9.30pm and 10.30pm after rocks were thrown at it.

A vehicle on Banbury Road at Wardington had both its front and back number plates stolen sometime between 5:30pm on Monday and 6:15am the following day. A similar plate theft also took place from a car on Delapre Drive, Banbury on Tuesday.

The ignition mechanism on a motorbike in Backside Lane, Sibford Gower, meanwhile, was smashed open overnight on Sunday.
