School-run problems
THIS morning (October 2) Chris Price, headteacher of The Cherwell School, sent out an email to parents, including my wife and me, warning that some parents are car-dropping and collecting their children at/from the entrance to North Site or along the Marston Ferry Road, at high risk to pedestrians and cyclists, with a number of near misses in recent weeks.
Quite reasonably Mr Price, with the safety of the Cherwell School community in mind, has reminded parents for start-of-school day and end-of-school day drop-offs and collections to use the Rugby Club car park, next to the South Site entrance, or the Ferry Centre car park for North Site.
Please!
