STAFF, pupils and parents released hundreds of balloons and tucked into a pig roast to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their school.
Dozens of people attended the celebration at Glory Farm Primary School in Hendon Place, Bicester, on Friday evening.
The event was postponed because of the devastating floods in July, which struck on the date originally planned for the school's celebration.
Bicester bakery Nash's made a huge birthday cake, which was shared by all 420 pupils at a special assembly last term.
Glory Farm was opened in January 1977 by former headteacher Michael Waine, who retired four years ago.
Mr Waine is now Oxfordshire County Council's cabinet member for school improvement.
Headteacher Paul Ducker said: "It's an opportunity for parents and children to come into the school and celebrate our anniversary.
"Nearly 200 children started in January 1977.
"It grew in the late 1990s to 650 children.
"Now we have about 420. The original building was extended in 1991."
