A THREE-VEHICLE crash near the A34 has caused further delays in south Oxfordshire following two similar incidents in the area this morning.
Drivers heading towards the Milton Interchange are facing congestion from the Steventon traffic lights due to the collision.
Earlier, two crashes on the A34 left parts of the road gridlocked in both directions as drivers faced delays in the heart of the rush hour.
One lane was blocked on the northbound carriageway between the A4183 Abingdon North and Hinksey Hill Interchange following a collision before 8am this morning.
Police attended the incident and at one point traffic was backing up several miles beyond the Marcham Interchange, but the road is now clear.
There were also reports of a collision involving a car and an HGV on the southbound carriageway between the Marcham and Milton interchanges.
This caused heavy traffic back to Featherbed Lane, near Steventon on the A4130.
Vehicles were also backing up beyond Marcham on the southbound carriageway, but this has now cleared.
