FOTU Latu scored a hat-trick of tries as Oxford Harlequins eased to a 51-0 victory at home to Swindon.

The hosts crossed eight times at Horspath Sports Ground to record a

third straight win in South West 1 East.

Rory Garrett, who converted four of the tries, put the hosts in front with a penalty.

Quins never looked back and raced into a 25-0 half-time lead, No 8 Latu completing his

hat-trick, with Martin Nutt also crossing.

Toni Turetta’s try extended their advantage on the hour, before scores from Callum Cashman, Ed Yeates and Chris Davies completed the rout.

Banbury’s unbeaten start and 21-match winning run came to an end in a 21-12 defeat at Marlborough.

Two tries from Miteli Vulkijapani, converted by Tom West, put the hosts 14-0 up.

A penalty try saw Bulls get on the scoreboard after the break, Vulkijapani seeing yellow for a high tackle on Dan Brady which prevented the initial score.

Despite being a man down, Marlborough extended their lead to 21-7 when Joeli Radovu sprinted over, West converting.

Lemeki Moala was sin-binned for the hosts and Banbury captain Ian Isham went over from the resulting penalty.

With the 80 minutes up, Bulls pushed for a bonus point, but could not force their way over.

Witney remain winless, but picked up their first point in a 15-10 defeat at Salisbury.

Tries from David Tonge and Mike Dawaulder, the first converted by Boyd Rouse, saw the hosts open up a 12-0 lead at the break.

A Luke Manning penalty got Witney on the scoreboard, before a penalty try saw them reduce the arrears to 12-10.

But a Rouse penalty on 69 minutes nudged Salisbury five points ahead as Witney had to settle for a losing bonus point.
